Philips HeartStart FRx AED Infant/Child Key is specifically designed for use with the Philips HeartStart FRx AED (861304-sold separately) and Philips HeartStart FRx AED SMART Pads II (989803139261 – sold separately).

Simply insert the Infant/Child Key into the Philips HeartStart FRx AED to signal to the device that you are treating an infant or child. The AED then adjusts to provide instructions specific to treating infants/children.

Other AED’s use separate pediatric pads for use on children, meaning you will have to regularly replace them just like the adult pads; the Philips HeartStart FRx AED saves you time and money by using a “key” that when inserted into the device coverts the device into a pediatric defibrillator.

The key can be used over and over again, no need for replacements! Just keep your Philips HeartStart FRx AED SMART Pads II (989803139261 - sold separately) up to date (they should be replaced every two years) and you are rescue ready for an emergency involving adults or children.
