Philips HeartStart FRx AED Training Pads are just one of many resources available for training purposes. The FRx Training Pads can be used in two different ways:

1.       With the Philips HeartStart FRx AED Trainer Unit (861306-sold separately). *Recommended*

2.       FRx AED Training Pads can be connected to your Philips HeartStart FRx AED Unit to convert the AED Unit to a Trainer Unit. 
    *Not recommended* - using your Philips HeartStart FRx AED Unit for training purposes drains the battery and could cause confusion in an emergency situation where unit needs to be used on a patient. FRx AED Training Pads cannot be used in an emergency and are for training purposes only.

Each Philips HeartStart FRx AED Training Pads case contains:

• 1 Pair of reusable adhesive Pads
• 1 Adult Pads Placement Guide
• 1 Illustrated Guide for using the Pads
• Instructions for Use
